Has the shish tawook and it was amazing - the rice was flavourful, chicken was SO tender and tasy, and the vegetables were welcome after many nights without them. Highly recommend such an affordable place within the Albaicin quarter

Started a nice and simple hummous with pitta bread. Great chicken shwarma and tasty chips made fresh with ketchup and garlic sauce. Small place with limited seating, but lovely and quick service.

Fantastic shawarma place! We tried it once and ended up coming back two more times in our brief Granada stay. Sam, the person who runs the place by himself, was sweet and friendly and just enjoyed serving customers well. The seating and ambiance is super cosy. This is the perfect late night shawarma spot!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I’ve been here for the last couple weeks because I’m studying abroad and when I found out about this restaurant I have been coming here at least 2-3 times per week!!! I love the durum de shawarma combo and the hummus with falafels i get it every time!! I’m gonna be very sad when I go home and I can’t come here any longer😔 everything about this restaurant is perfect

From the moment I crossed the sacred threshold of Rincón de Bagdad, I knew I was no longer in a simple eatery—I had stepped into a culinary sanctum where spices sing ancient songs and meats are kissed by flames with the tenderness of a love letter.
The hummus—oh, the hummus! Creamier than a sonnet, richer than a sultan’s dowry. It wasn’t just chickpeas and tahini. It was silk spun by angels, a velvet cloud that cradled the tongue and whispered forgotten secrets of Levantine kitchens.
Then came the shawarma, wrapped not in mere pita but in parchment sent from Olympus. Each bite was a revelation. The meat was tender, marinated in what I can only assume was a potion of divine origin. Smoky, spiced, and impossibly juicy, it danced across my palate like a dervish in a trance.
But the kebab—ah, the kebab! Forged in fire and poetry, it bore the marks of char and craftsmanship. It was not grilled; it was consecrated. The texture was a symphony of crisp and tender, the seasoning a saga in every bite.

Sorry for the review in English - I'm a visitor but MUST review this place. Amazing food, nice man making it. I literally went here for take-away food and ate my meal at the Airbnb, and after my husband tried it, we went back to get another for him 🤣 perfect stop for a quick bite and so yummy.

We ended up going 2 days in a row it was that good. Great price, great atmosphere, indoor seating, nice staff. He gave us fries for free on the second day because he recognized us 🤩👏🏼

My friends and I happened upon this awesome place as we wandered down a delightful side street, at the bottom of the hill below the Alhambra. I ordered the falafel and hummus durum grande (large tortilla wrap made of flower). It also had onions, olives, tomato and cabbage. It was the best falafel I have ever had. The proprietor was incredibly hospitable and the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend!
